So therefore on Len Hutton and Garfield Sobers have captained their countries regularly while Gilchrist has done it on two occasions, which means he won't be considered. Sobers record while being captain was slightly superior to when he wasn't captain, while Hutton's record did go down a bit. Given the greatness of Sobers, and the status he has in the game he will be the vice-captain of this team.
